Why Inventor Kids
Thinkers first. Skills follow.
We believe the most valuable thing a child can develop isn’t a specific STEM skill. It’s the ability to approach any problem with curiosity, persistence and creative thinking. Those habits outlast any technology.
Genuinely broad STEM
Chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, coding, robotics and more. All without a screen in sight. We offer an extensive variety of themes for all children to find their own passion in STEM.
A bespoke curriculum
Every session is built around documented learning outcome, a STEM mindset focus and age-appropriate scaffolding. All designed by a professional engineer.
Small groups
All sessions are small group environments. Every child has their own activity station and materials to explore and discover. It’s a genuine learning experience.
Neurodivergence-aware
Sessions are designed with adaptability built in. We adjust content and delivery so every child has a genuine opportunity to participate, engage and succeed.
Proudly South Australian
Inventor Kids is a proud South Australian business built for the families and children in the community.
“The jobs our children will do in 15 years may not exist yet. But the thinking skills they develop right now through curiosity, persistence and the confidence to tackle something new will never go out of date. That’s what we’re building at Inventor Kids.”
— Dr Emily Anderson, Founder

STEM beyond our lab
Inventor Kids takes real STEM into communities across South Australia. From remote First Nations communities in the APY Lands to children’s wards at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Because access to quality STEM shouldn’t depend on your postcode, your circumstances or what you’re going through.
Fregon, APY Lands · 2025
STEM sessions delivered to remote First Nations children in an exchange of contemporary science and First Nations knowledge.
Starlight Foundation · 2024
STEM brought to seriously ill children at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital so they could access activities and experiences like their peers.
Young Carers SA · 2026
An afternoon of science for young carers aged 5 to 10 carrying adult caregiving responsibilities. This gave them time where the only thing they had to think about was science.
